Cookies and Device Storage

Updated 18 October 2026 · Tail Creek United

This policy covers the cîmân website, its private preview and the nêhiyawêwin language app. Cookies are small browser records; local storage keeps preferences on your device.

Sign-in and Security

Production session cookies use HTTPS, are inaccessible to page scripts and use SameSite protection. Account security cookies are required for the services you request.

Preferences on Your Device

The mother page stores your reading position under ciman:mother-page:reading-position. The font preview can store syllabic-display-font. These records stay in that browser until you clear them; they are separate from account cookies. App and game features may also retain settings or progress on the device. Clearing website data resets locally saved preferences.

Human Verification

Registration, verification-link requests and password resets use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. Loading those forms connects your browser to Cloudflare, which processes browser and network information. If pre-clearance is enabled, Cloudflare can issue a cf_clearance security cookie; its duration is controlled by that service. We have not confirmed that cookie is issued in this installation. Cloudflare privacy policy.

Optional Videos

Embedded YouTube videos are held back until you select “Load YouTube Video.” Doing so connects to YouTube and may allow its cookies or device storage. We use its privacy-enhanced player where available; that does not mean no information is processed. Your choice applies to that player on the current page. Reloading asks again. Your Choices

You can leave videos unloaded, sign out, or use your browser settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and website data. Blocking necessary cookies prevents sign-in and some forms from working. Deleting local storage removes saved reading positions and preferences. The Treaty website and language app use separate hostnames. Their cookies and locally saved data are separate; sign-in does not automatically transfer between them.

No advertising or audience-analytics scripts were identified in the code reviewed for this release. This statement does not cover websites you visit through external links. We will revise this policy when these features change.
